Antique McKee & Brothers clear handled glass plate. Perfect for serving or display. Reads ‘It Is Pleasant To Labor For Those We Love’. Embossed in the center with raised grapes and grape leaves.
Called a pie plate back in the late 1800's, this is a wonderful antique clear glass EAPG handled tray.
The plate has several air bubbles which are very common in vintage pressed glass and actually adds to the character of the piece (see photos). It measures 12 5/8 inches diameter (handle to handle) and is 1 3/8 inches deep.
In excellent antique condition consistent with its age, there are no chips or cracks. Minor scratches.
