Historians will appreciate this Ivory Stone statue of Napoleon Bonaparte’s Crossing the St. Bernard Pass. Made in Italy Santini has done amazing work especially in the details. Bonaparte is carved on the stone showing it’s authenticity. The front legs had underlying cracks but was exceptionally repaired making it hard to notice unless closely examined. This certainly does not detract from the original unique structure. The material is ivory stone mixed with resin making it a very durable piece. The dimensions are 6” wide and 8-1/2” tall. This is an elegant and decorative work of art!
