The back of the cabachon pendant is stamped "STERLING". However, acid test confirmed that it is not in fact solid sterling silver. ★ Blue Goldstone is a synthetic glass that's made by adding tiny cobalt crystals to molten glass, resulting in its distinctive deep blue color and shimmering sparkle. While it's called "goldstone," it doesn't contain gold; it's made with copper, cobalt, manganese, or chromium.
