This platter is a nice 1950 vintage condition. 'Conference' by Ridgway Potteries Ltd., The 'Conference' pattern by Pat Albeck won the Council of Industrial Design, Design of the Year Award in 1957. The body, known as 'Metro' was designed by Tom Arnold. Some manufacture flaws.
