Fantastic French Vintage Majolica Pheasant Pate Terrine. Rare and Collectible Pot by Michel Caugant The Michel Caugant pheasant terrine is a French faience (earthenware) pot with hand-painted detail. They produced different animal shapes and the pheasant is quite a rare one. Originally designed to hold pâté but can also be used for serving other foods or just as a a fab decorative item. It was originally manufactured in Normandy in the 1960s and designed for Brittany terrines and pates. These dishes are very collectible and are perfect for dressers and French style kitchens. In good vintage condition with bright colours and no chips or cracks.
