Yasuzemon Matsunaga (1875-1971) was a businessman who was active in Japan's electric power industry before and after World War II.
After turning 60, he became devoted to the tea ceremony, taking the name "Jian" and becoming a tea master and collector of antique art. He collected not only tea utensils but also a wide range of Japanese and Oriental antique art and appreciation art, and his collection is known as the "Matsunaga Collection."
