This is the exhibition catalog for the exhibition held from 2012 to 2014.
Photography is always at the forefront of its time. Kishin Shinoyama, a rare photographer, has captured the times and things and expressed them in various ways throughout his 50 years of activity. Kishin Shinoyama held his first large-scale museum tour exhibition in Japan. Approximately 130 carefully selected works from his vast collection of photographs are included.
Portraits of famous people from various eras and genres, such as John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Yukio Mishima, Hibari Misora, Shigeo Nagashima, Momoe Yamaguchi, and AKB48, as well as landscapes of Disneyland and Toshimaen Pool, sumo wrestlers, Kabuki, and the expressions of people standing in the landscapes scarred by the earthquake. These works make you think, "What is photography?" and "What is a Japanese person?"

There are slight scratches on the cover. Other than that, it is in generally good condition for its age. We appreciate your understanding if you are considering a used item.
