Nantucket Style Swing Handle Basket with wooden bottom. Black handle, upper cane lashed trim and wooden base, this basket has a beautiful rattan patina; ivoryite handle buttons secure the handle. Displays beautifully.
Estate find in very good vintage condition. Shelf wear to bottom painted wood base. Canes are tight and intact. No markings. I am not sure of the provenance.
