This is a one of a kind handmade plush art doll with sorrowful plastic eyes, a time-worn teddy bear head, and a sleek otter-like body. He wears an eyelet lace collar with silver skeleton key, and his rump has a charm stamped with the word handmade. He is ~13 long x 11 tall.
Soren is the keeper of cherished memories, the most precious of which are locked in an inner vault. On land, he walks with slow, heavy steps, but in the water, his long, narrow body lets him swim with surprising speed, as if unweighted by the worries of the world.
This art doll is part of my Oddments series, which celebrates beauty in imperfection. Each Oddment is fully handcrafted and customized as a soft sculpture or collectible plush. As such, they are not a toy and recommended for ages 18+.
