Samiro Yunoki, a dyer. Born in Tokyo in 1922. He embarked on his path in dyeing after encountering Soetsu Yanagi's "Mingei" and Keisuke Serizawa's calendars. While creating numerous works such as katazome and dyed paintings, he also taught at Joshibi University of Art and Design. He also works on picture books, prints, and three-dimensional works.
