Seneca Driftwood Green Lowball Glasses - 6

This is a wonderful set of six vintage small drink glasses in the Seneca Green Driftwood pattern. They are in pristine condition and sparkle.

These glasses measure 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches at the mouth. They hold 6 ounces.

The glass itself has texture in the outside but it’s smooth on the inside. The glasses seem to be durable. It isn’t a delicate glass but it isn’t heavyweight either. But they seem strong.

This pattern goes back to the 1950s, when Seneca introduced its Driftwood Casual table setting pattern in an attempt to capture a less formal segment of the glassware market. Driftwood was originally introduced in four colors: Honey, Bottle Green, Amethyst Smoke and Clearwater Crystal. This pattern was produced for nearly 30 years in Morgantown WV and became especially important to the company as formal glassware became less popular.
