Denim & Supply is one of my favorite defunct y2k lines, and this is a great fall staple with a good hand-feel and lots of delicate pleating at the front. I think the line's big failing was that it was just Too Normcore—preppy without being quite classic, alt but never subversive. The midwestern Americana lewk of the decade, when actual Midwesterners had just seen Underworld and The Matrix and were all dressing like they wanted to get into Berghain.
