Vintage Bell Trading Post Copper Thunderbird Cuff Bracelet

Solid copper with Thunderbird and Knife Wing symbols on this large cuff bracelet by Bell Trading Post. In very good vintage condition the large Thunderbird appears on the front section with the Knife Wing symbol on each side. It is marked with the arrow sign post with a bell hanging from it which is the mark they used beginning in 1961. The cuff has an inside diameter of 2 1/2" with an opening of 1 1/2" with not much give to it as it is very sturdy. It is 2" wide at the front tapering down to 1" wide at the back. The Thunderbird and Knife Wing symbols appear repeatedly in southwestern art with the Knife Wing symbolizing warrior protection and the Thunderbird being in the control of weather and could bring about thunderstorms.
