This is a stunning and vibrant Russian Folk Art wooden Khokholma ladle or serving spoon that has been decorated using lacquerware. Part of the design includes pomegranates which are supposed to bring good luck to your home.
I believe that this spoon was created for display purposes rather than to be used practically.
This is a pre-loved vintage item and therefore shows signs of wear and tear - there is some minor chipping to the paint in certain areas. The damage can be seen in the photos provided.
