Circa 1939. **This set is in decent condition with some missing paint and a few scratches, particularly to the hands and faces. See pictures for details. For this reason, I am listing this set as being in "fair" condition** The pieces appear to be carved wood, but may be made from "Syrocco" or, more commonly, "Syroco," which is the term applied to a molded material resembling carved wood that was invented and first implemented by a company called the "Syracuse Ornamental Company. A unique addition to any home.
